Who is Brett Favre?

Brett Favre is a former American footballquarterback known for his long and successful career in the NFL. Born on October 10, 1969, in Gulfport, Mississippi, Favre grew up in the small town of Kiln. He played college footballat the University of Southern Mississippi, where he became the team's starting quarterback as a freshman.

Favre was drafted by the Atlanta Falcons in 1991, but his career took off after he was traded to the Green Bay Packers in 1992. Over 16 seasons with the Packers, Favre became one of the NFL's top quarterbacks. He led the team to a Super Bowl victory in 1997 and was named the NFL's Most Valuable Player (MVP) greatly from 1995 to 1997. Known for his toughness and leadership, he set multiple records, including the most career passing touchdowns and passing yards at retirement.
